EDITORIAL & REVIEW STANDARDS

Claims should be clear, sourced, and accountable.

This page explains who owns our buyer guidance, how facts are checked, which sources we use, and how corrections and verified customer evidence are handled.

Commercial relationship disclosed. MaketheSign.com sells the products linked from its buyer guides. Sources support factual claims; they do not endorse our store.
01

Who publishes and reviews the guides

MaketheSign.com is the organizational author and publisher of its buyer guides. The MaketheSign.com Production Review Team reviews guide content for accuracy and completeness before it is released.

We do not attach a fictional person to company-authored content. If a named specialist contributes in the future, the page will identify that person and link to a factual profile.

02

What counts as a source

Guide recommendations begin with current MaketheSign.com product details, our crawlable production-template library, and the actual ordering, artwork, proof, and production workflow. Material definitions, file-format guidance, safety context, or other externally checkable claims use primary sources such as standards bodies, government guidance, or original manufacturer documentation.

Each guide lists the references used for those claims. A source link does not mean that its publisher endorses MaketheSign.com. Exact products, options, prices, and compatibility are controlled by the linked current product pages.

03

How commercial interests are handled

The guides link to products sold by MaketheSign.com, so they are commercial content. We make that relationship visible instead of presenting the pages as independent reviews.

Products are matched to the stated use and current catalog facts. We do not sell rankings, accept payment for a guide conclusion, import third-party testimonials, or claim that a product is approved for a regulated use when the site cannot substantiate that approval.

04

Dates, updates, and corrections

Guide pages show a first-published date and the date of the latest material review. We update a guide when catalog specifications, cited primary guidance, or the ordering workflow changes in a way that affects the answer—not merely to make a page look fresh.

To report a material error, send the guide URL, disputed statement, and supporting evidence to orders@makethesign.com. The production review team will check the page and correct or clarify it when warranted.

05

How customer reviews are verified

Customer product reviews appear only after the submitted order number and email match a shipped MaketheSign.com order containing that product. Reviews also require staff moderation before publication.

Published review summaries count only approved, verified-purchase reviews with a customer name, written review, date, and rating. When no approved reviews exist, the product page says so rather than displaying fabricated or imported evidence.
